For the Record: Mediacom buys Vann

Mediacom in Toronto has bought Vann Outdoor Advertising of Niagara Falls, Ont. for an undisclosed sum. The purchase includes 100 poster panel faces in Niagara Falls and the neighboring towns of Welland, St. Catharines and Fort Erie. Mediacom President Brian McLean says the acquisition is part of an Ontario expansion plan to meet national advertiser demand. Vann Outdoor founder Larry Vann stays on as a Niagara Region consultant with Mediacom for three years.
