KBS+ brings Attention to Canada

Global creative agency KBS+ is hoping to continue commanding the attention of its Canadian clients, having recently introduced its newly-purchased social media agency Attention to the KBS+ Toronto office.

The social marketing firm, which was acquired by the KBS+ family earlier this year in March, has brought its offerings to the Canadian office, with the Attention team reporting to Cameron Wykes, chief invention officer at KBS+ Canada, according to a release.

In the five short months since its acquisition, Attention has joined KBS+ operations in three markets: New York, Los Angeles and London.

The nine-year-old shop, which has a hefty roster of clients, including Samsung, Microsoft, Dunkin’ Donuts, American Express and Mattel, brings specialized skills in “interpreting unstructured search and social data,” and will help the Toronto office execute social media marketing campaigns across various platforms, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Wykes said in the statement that while KBS+ is able to bring solid marketing solutions for its clients, there is an increasing need to include “social interaction with consumers” executed across a range of social platforms. “KBS+ Toronto’s clients will benefit from Attention’s deep social marketing expertise in creating social experiences to drive the digital customer journey,” he added.
