Sid Lee wins Club Med business

The agency will take on creative direction for the resort brand's experiential project with Cirque du Soleil.

Sid Lee has been named creative AOR for the Club Med brand in North America.

The two-year agreement will include strategic creative direction, including on “Club Med Creactive” by Cirque du Soleil, which will launch in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, this summer. Cirque du Soleil invested in Sid Lee in 2012 and has worked with the agency on various branding projects since.

Sid Lee won the Club Med business after a pitch involving five U.S. agencies and five Quebec agencies, according to a press release.

New work for the vacation resort brand will include print and digital, the release also notes.

In 2013, Club Med launched a global brand campaign, working with Saatchi & Saatchi + Duke in France.
