Taxi 2 names new GM
After a year at the agency, Haneen Davies takes the helm.
Taxi 2 has named Haneen Davies as its new general manager.
Haneen replaces Dan Shearer, who joined Cossette back in March as its EVP and general manager, leading operations in the Toronto office.
In her new role, Davies will lead the day-to-day operations at the agency. She joined Taxi 2 last year, as a group account director after a year as senior account director at Edelman. Prior to going agency-side, Davies worked at CPG companies including PepsiCo (as a brand manager on Doritos and Tostitos) and Unilever (as assistant brand manager on Axe and Becel).
News of her promotion comes on the heels of a new president at the parent-company level: Mike Leslie, former GM at the Vancouver office, took the helm of Taxi across English Canada, and made it one of his first duties to replace Shearer.
