Tribal Worldwide Canada has appointed Marketa Krivy as executive creative director.

Effective Sept. 6, Krivy will lead Tribal’s creative team in Toronto.

Tribal parted ways with its former ECD, Joshua Stein, in March as part of an ongoing growth plan and evolving structure the agency felt required a change in creative leadership. Stein subsequently joined McCann Canada (formerly MacLaren McCann) as its new ECD to oversee the creative department in its Toronto office.

Most recently creative director at John St., Krivy has held roles at KBS Toronto, Zulu Alpha Kilo, Taxi, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson. She also previously spent four years with DDB Canada Toronto, working on brands including Volkswagen, Ikea, Coca-Cola, Unilever, McDonald’s, Labatt, Molson, Bell, Panasonic, Canadian Tire, Kraft, Target and Ford.

Prior to joining John St. in April 2015, where she worked on Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaws, she was a freelance creative working with various agencies.
