Paul Stephens of ACLKpaul Stephens, associate creative director of Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly, died on July 24 as a result of a highway traffic accident.
Stephens, 57, was a 30-year veteran of the industry.
He began his career in the 1960s at McKim Advertising.
He was a creative force at Goodis Goldberg Soren in the early ’70s, and later worked with Cockfield-Brown and McCann-Erickson Advertising.
Stephens, who joined aclk in 1981, was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art in Toronto.
A Paul Stephens Scholarship Fund has been set up at the oca and donations to the fund can be made to aclk.
Stephens is survived by his wife Marlene and daughters Andrea and Tara.
