Boris Damast, creative director of Canada’s largest ad agency, McKim Baker Lovick BBDO, is leaving to direct television commercials full time.

Damast, who has already directed a number of his own commercials, joins director/cameraman Steve Gordon.

The new Toronto-based company is called Damast Gordon and Partners, and will operate under the umbrella of Derek Van Lint and Associates, Gordon’s current production company home.
