In our Dec. 13 issue, in an article about Panorama Club, Royal Bank’s new Visa card customer loyalty program, it was incorrectly stated that Toronto’s Chiat/Day Advertising created a direct mail print ad the bank distributed in October along with its monthly Visa cardholder’s statement.

In fact, Montreal’s Marlowe Communications, which developed Panorama Club, was responsible for the ad.

Chiat/Day was responsible for a separate direct mail initiative, conducted in November, in which the bank used Panorama Club as an incentive to encourage existing Royal Bank customers, who were not Visa cardholders, to become Visa cardholders. Strategy regrets the error.
