Boston Pizza International has named Lanyon Phillips Brink agency of record after a review that included two other Vancouver agencies, J. Walter Thompson and Moreland and Associates, on the short-list.

The Richmond, b.c.-based pizza chain initiated a search last October after splitting with Glennie Stamnes Advertising of Vancouver, which had been its agency since 1991.

Boston Pizza has 92 locations, one corporate-owned, in 46 markets from Thunder Bay, Ont. to Victoria, along with three franchises in Taiwan.

The company has plans to add 15 to 20 Ontario locations and expand into the u.s., Mainland China, the former Soviet Union, Western Europe and the Middle East. PS
