The long-expected on-air shuffle at cjcl, the all-sports radio station in Toronto, has been made official.

In as new host of the 6-10 a.m. morning show is Bob McCown, a well-known sports broadcaster and former host of the station’s Prime Time Sports flagship show.

Joining McCown will be traffic reporter/co-host Barb Digiulio, sportscaster Ken Daniels and newscaster Bob Durant.

Afternoon drive

Moving to the afternoon ‘drive’ show – 3-7 p.m. – is Dan Shulman, who also becomes the new host of Prime Time Sports.

Stephanie Smyth joins Shulman as the afternoon traffic reporter.

Into the 12-4 p.m. slot goes Mike Inglis, with Mike Hogan. Toronto Maple Leaf play-by-play man Joe Bowen moves to the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. slot.

According to general manager John Rea, the station is fine-tuning its program lineup.

cjcl, known as the THE FAN 1430, went to all-sports radio last September from a big band/easy listening format. DC
