There have been two marketing changes at Honda Canada.

Named senior manager, marketing communications, is Dennis Manning.

Manning becomes responsible for Honda and Acura advertising and event marketing and public relations. He had been public affairs manager.

Terry Green becomes manager of Honda auto advertising, replacing Hank Howard, who moves to business development in Honda’s Central Zone.

Scott Murray is the new manager of public relations with responsibility for product information.

- BII Enterprises of Weston, Ont. has named R. David Gould as its new director of marketing.

Gould becomes responsible for marketing, advertising and corporate communications for bii and its subsidiaries, Ontario Store Fixtures, Benwind Industries and OSF America.

- Grouse Mountain Resorts North Vancouver has appointed Susan Dore as director of sales and marketing.

Dore previously held sales and marketing positions with Koala Springs Canada and Rogers Video.

- Mike Fenton, the director of corporate sales for Tennis Canada, has become the head of its new department of sales and marketing.

Fenton will continue to report to John Beddington, executive vice-president of Tennis Canada.

Before joining Tennis Canada, Fenton worked for the Ontario Gymnastics Federation and Outdoor Canada/The Sportsmen’s Shows.

Bill Whitehead has been named chairman, chief executive officer of Backer Spielvogel Bates Canada.

Stan Buda, previously chairman, becomes chairman emeritus.

Bill Maynard has stepped up to president and chief creative officer.

Whitehead became president and chief operating officer of BSB Canada in 1990 and chief executive officer last April.

In January 1992, Maynard, formerly managing director of creative services for Ted Bates Worldwide, joined the Canadian agency as executive creative director.

- Jeff Eamer has returned to Franklin Dallas after a three-and-a-half month stint as creative group head at Doner Schur Peppler.

Eamer, was senior art director at Franklin Dallas for the two years prior to his move to Doner Schur Peppler.

Michael Oliver is the new vice-president of sales and marketing at Global Teleworks B.C.

Most recently, Oliver was president of Arena Marketing.

Joining Oliver is Alex McInnes, who becomes vice-president of operations. McInnes has been in the telecommunications industry for more than 30 years.

Global Teleworks B.C. is a telecommunications service provider.
