more than 15 Canadian illustrators have donated their work to create a 16-month calendar to aid hunger relief.
The calendar, produced for Second Harvest, a non-profit organization that fights hunger and food waste in Toronto, and Share Our Strength, an international group, is designed by Nathalie Cusson of Bulldog Communications in Toronto.
The calendar will be sold for $15 at the Share Our Strength Taste the Nation event taking place in more than 100 cities across Canada and the u.s.
Toronto’s version of that event takes place on April 25 when 50 of the city’s finest chefs will prepare a sumptuous feast for 1,000 guests at the Royal York Hotel.
Proceeds go to Second Harvest and Share Our Strength.
Many of the calendar illustrators have also donated their original artwork to be sold in a silent auction at the event. PS
