Thomas J. Lipton and Monarch Fine Foods, both of Toronto, have merged under the Lipton name.

The amalgamation of the two Unilever companies, which occurred in mid-April, has led to a number of changes at the executive level, including the relocation of Scott Sullivan, Lipton’s vice-president of marketing, to Unilever’s operations in New Zealand.

Rolf Bolhuis, vice-president of marketing for Monarch, has been transferred to another Toronto-based Unilever company, Dickie Dee Ice Cream, where he takes over as general manager.

The new marketing head at Lipton is Mike Cullen. PA
