The principals of Apex Communications have joined Cormark Communications, both of London, Ont.

Ian Campbell, Apex president/creative director, and Jim Gruber, vice-president/general manager, have been running the graphics and sales promotion firm since 1985.

Campbell has become Cormark’s associate art director, and Gruber is account supervisor.

Campbell says the decision to wind down Apex was made because its clients outgrew the small studio and needed more sophisticated marketing services.

Apex clients include DowBrands, Union Gas, Best Western Hotels, Ellis-Don, Emco and Unifin. PS
