The first marketing products of the recent agreement between Nielsen Marketing Research and Compusearch Micromarketing Data and Systems have arrived.

Called Brandstyles and Storepro, both use Compusearch’s 13 major geodemographic Lifestyles market consumer segments.

Craig Kowalchuk, vice-president, communications and consumer products consulting group at Compusearch, says a good number of company clients have been asking for help to understand sales potential for their brands and skus geographically or even store by store.

Brandstyles is a custom market analysis package to identify the profiles of product category, individual brand or specific sku purchasers using Compusearch’s Lifestyles segments.

Storepro, another analysis service, offers grocery retailers and packaged goods marketers the chance to develop shopper profiles for individual grocery chains and store banners, also using Lifestyles.

Kowalchuk says Brandstyles and Storepro are being jointly marketed by Compusearch and Nielsen by each firm’s sales team.

He says the cost of the services range from about $1,000 for some ‘pretty basic stuff,’ to about $7,500. DC
