Royal Doulton Canada, of Scarborough, Ont., has announced two key staff appointments in its marketing department.

Kevin Moore has been named vice-president, sales and marketing, replacing Ron Kelly, who left the firm a few months ago.

Moore was previously a sales and marketing executive with Royal Doulton in Belgium, with responsibility for Continental Europe.

As well, Guy Williamson has been named to the new position of vice-president, special markets.

Previously, Williamson was sales director, multiple business sectors, Royal Doulton U.K.

- After eight years with the O’Keefe Centre in Toronto, Janine Fawcett has moved to New York City to become national press representative for the Cameron Mackintosh production, Five Guys Named Moe.

Fawcett’s most recent post at the O’Keefe Centre was senior communications officer.

The new head of communications for the venue is Julie Gallagher, who was communications co-ordinator under Fawcett for the past three years.

Richard Rotman has joined Burson-Marsteller as group manager, health care in the Toronto office.

Rotman was most recently director of health care communications at another Toronto firm. Before that, he was publisher of the now-defunct Toronto arts weekly, Metropolis.

TV Guide has tapped Naomi Rose to be its associate publisher, working with publisher Graham Morris.

Rose was previously manager, customer service at Imperial Oil.

Karen Webb assumes Rose’s former position.
