A new addition to infoNet Media’s infoShelf system of in-store advertising has extended the company’s reach to drugstores across Canada.

InfoNet Media has announced the creation of the infoShelf Drug Network.

InfoShelf, Canada’s leading in-store media, is an on-shelf system for delivering advertising, product information and a full range of consumer promotions (coupons, contests and refund offers.)

The new Drug Network will complement infoShelf’s existing Supermarket Network, extending the system to many of the leading drugstore chains, including Guardian, i.d.a., Pharmacie Jean Coutu, Lawtons Drugs, London Drugs, Maxi Drug and Shoppers Drug Mart: in all, more than 1,400 major drug stores and food stores with pharmacy outlets.

‘What we’re doing is taking a proven success (the Supermarket Network) and expanding it into this key market channel,’ infoNet President Matey Nedcov says.

The infoShelf Drug Network will launch this October, and will reach more than 12 million shoppers weekly, or almost 60% of Canadian households. SW
