Agfa Canada has signed deals with Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens and the Vancouver Forum to buy rinkboard advertising for the 1993-94 nhl hockey season.

The boards, which went up Oct. 1, are at high-action points close to rink corners.

The agreements cover regular and playoff games.

‘The rinkboards in Vancouver and Toronto will bring us exposure, through television coverage of the games and arena attendance, to millions of consumers,’ says Paul Panza, manager of advertising and promotion at Agfa.

‘At an average of nine minutes of television exposure per game, the Agfa rinkboards are going to create a big increase in consumer awareness of Agfa film nationwide,’ Panza says.
