Padulo widens its view

Padulo Integrated of Toronto has expanded and says the addition of new units and the restructuring of internal reporting channels will aid in the goal of providing seamless integrated communications.

Padulo Information Centre and Padulo Promotions have joined Padulo Advertising and Padulo Direct under the Integrated umbrella.

Another three divisions will be added next spring, including Padulo Public Relations and Padulo Management.

Tomacon purchase

The formation of the two new groups, Padulo Information Centre and Padulo Promotions, was made possible by the purchase of Toronto company Tomacon.

Tony Macdonald, former head of Tomacon, has joined the company as general manager and part owner of Padulo Promotions.

Tomacon also held sole Canadian rights to Joyce Julius, a research methodology, which has formed the base of the Padulo Information Centre and expanded the agency’s research component to include telemarketing research.

Padulo already handled its own qualitative research and had its own focus group facility.

Bryan Black, former director of marketing at Padulo client Black’s Photography, has joined the Integrated group as vice-president in the account and administrative side of the business.

Five central offices

Internal restructuring of the company has resulted in five central offices reporting to President Rick Padulo and responsible for a certain component of all of the divisions.

The offices and their heads are Bill MacDonald, executive vice-president, business development; Gord Steventon, executive vice-president, strategic planning; Doug Moen, executive vice-president, creative director; Alan Rootenberg, executive vice-president and chief financial officer; and Joe Padulo, executive vice-president and chief operating officer.

Paul Allamby is president and partner of Padulo Direct and Isabella Carnegie is executive vice-president and partner of Padulo Advertising.
