Gallop & Gallop Advertising has stepped into the vacancy at the Poster Network created by the departure of the Pattison Outdoor Group.

Mediacom, the principal outdoor company in the Poster Network group of companies, will now represent all of Gallop’s billboards and transit shelters nationally.

Gallop will represent Mediacom’s products to Alberta-based advertisers.

Both companies will continue to sell their own products in Toronto.

Mediacom and Gallop have had an agreement in place since last June for sales representation of the latter’s transit shelters in Edmonton and Ottawa/Hull.

Newer outdoor companies that have joined the Poster Network include Mark V Advertising (transit shelters, Calgary); MacDonald & MacDonald (posters, Edmonton); Prolite Advertising (superboards, Edmonton); and Vann Outdoor (posters, St. Catharines/Niagara, Ont.)

The Poster Network now represents 37 out-of-home companies, including Mediacom, and represents close to 16,000 outdoor ad structures.

Pattison Outdoor Group will officially leave the out-of-home network March 24 for business reasons. DC
