Vancouver-based Clearly Canadian Beverages has teamed up with Toronto-based tv station MuchMusic for a summer promotion playing up the idea behind the Canadian identity.

This month, 45-second promotional spots will air on Much asking viewers to send in a definition of what aspect of Canada is Clearly Canadian.

The promotion will be supported with decals and information pads set up at in-store Clearly Canadian displays at 7-11 variety stores across Canada.

A ballot and ad will be distributed nationally in TV Guide and other tv listings publications.

The grand prize in the sweepstakes will be 10 trips for two to MuchMusic’s 1994 Canadian MusicVideo Awards on Sept. 29.
