After nearly 30 years at the Retail Council of Canada, President Alasdair McKichan is stepping down at the end of November.

McKichan says he has had ‘two helpings’ at the Toronto-based council. The first time was from 1963 to 1971, and the second time began in 1975.

He says after he retires he will continue to work as a consultant in government relations.

He says a council search committee is now seeking his successor, adding the council has known about his departure for almost a year. DC
