The Toronto-Dominion Bank has consolidated media buying with Optimedia Canada of Toronto, a division of FCB Canada, effective Jan. 1.
The bank’s advertising spend in 1993 was $7.3 million, according to Nielsen Marketing Research.
The assignment is for td’s head office operations, which includes corporate campaigns, the Financial Services Division, TD Trust, Green Line Investor Services and Evergreen Investment Services.
Creative and media planning will continue to be handled by Toronto agencies McCann-Erickson (corporate); Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising (TD Trust); Gee Jeffery & Partners (Green Line Investor Services, discount brokerage), and Enterprise Advertising (Evergreen Investor Services, full-service brokerage.)
