Larry Smith, commissioner of the Canadian Football League, is this year’s winner of the Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year.

Smith was selected from a short-list of three, after being named winner in the Consumer/ Packaged Goods category.

Other short-listed marketers were Richard Gallop of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, winner in Services Marketing, and Don Woodley of Compaq Canada, winner in Business to Business.
