As part of its two-month introduction to Quebec, Wal-Mart Canada is airing the first of four tv commercials that celebrate customers, sales ‘associates’ and the Christmas season.

The first of the 30-second spots, ‘Falling Prices,’ is running for four weeks.

The spot dramatizes Wal-Mart Canada’s commitment to reduce prices on its products.

All four commercials were developed by Lou Puim, Wal-Mart Canada’s director of marketing, and Andre Blanchard, vice-president, creative, at Allard Communication-Marketing in Montreal.

The second tv spot, ‘Grand Opening,’ runs Nov. 21-28 to coincide with the official opening of Wal-Mart stores in Quebec.

The spot was filmed at a Wal-Mart store and will serve to reinforce the company’s everyday low pricing and customer service.

The two other spots, ‘Everyday Low Prices’ and ‘Holiday,’ begin the week of Nov. 28 and run until the end of the year.
