The Benckiser Group of Toronto has consolidated its media business valued at more than $8 million with Bates Media Canada of Toronto.

The assignment includes the Coty and Lancaster fragrance and cosmetics divisions, as well as Benckiser, maker of household dishwasher products such as Electosol, Cascade and Jet Dry.

Bates previously handled media buying for Lancaster, while the balance of the business was with Media Buying Services.

Creative for Lancaster and Coty is adapted from u.s. campaigns, while Benckiser is handled by Bates. PS
