A national star search is on to find Canada’s brightest young creative team.

The winning ad agency copywriter and art director partners, to be selected by a panel of leading advertising professionals, will represent Canada at a worldwide creative competition being introduced this year at the prestigious International Advertising Festival in Cannes.

The competition will involve young advertising people from around the world, and is expected to be one of the marquee events at the international advertising community’s most important awards show.

The competition was created by festival organizers as a means of focusing attention on youth.

The search for Canada’s team is being conducted through Strategy (for details see Page 7).

The winning team will be sent to France courtesy the Canadian event sponsors – Cineplex Odeon, Canadian Airlines International and The Partners’ Film Company.
