Grey repositions Kelley, forms interactive arm

The head of Grey Canada has announced the formation of an interactive division, managerial changes and a repositioning of Grey unit, Kelley Advertising.

Andy Krupski, who took over as president and chief executive officer at Toronto-based Grey Canada last April, announced the launch last week of Grey Interactive.

The new division, also in Toronto, is headed by Tony Russell, president and creative director, and Jim Adams, vice-president account director.

Peter Wilmshurst becomes senior vice-president, director of new business development and strategic planning at Grey Canada.

Wilmshurst was most recently vice-president of marketing and sales for Showcase Television Network.

Rick Morgan, who has been moved to Grey Canada from Kelley Advertising, is the new director of strategic services.

Sachi Mukerji, formerly managing director of BBDO Direct, Toronto, has joined Grey Direct as senior vice-president, managing director, replacing Sherry Martin, who has left the company.

Kelley Advertising, in Hamilton, has repositioned itself to focus on strategic analysis and brand development.
