The Agfa Division of Bayer has painted 11 delivery trucks in Vancouver and Toronto to look like rolling boxes of film in the latest stage of its launch of High Definition Colour film.
High Definition Colour, introduced in February, is the first consumer film from Agfa, which previously only sold professional film.
The six eye-catching delivery trucks in Toronto are the first advertising to promote the film in Eastern Canada.
The advertising campaign began in May in Western Canada, where Miriam Baltensperger, Agfa’s marketing manager for Photo and Imaging Systems, says the product has been well-received.
Baltensperger says it is only recently that orders have been coming in from Ontario grocery chains.
As distribution increases across the country, she says the television and outdoor campaign running in the Western provinces will be rolled out.
Agfa’s agency is Lackie Business Communications of Toronto. PS
