Playdium Entertainment Corporation in partnership with Sega GameWorks has signed a five-year deal with Famous Players to put TechTown entertainment centres into movie theatres across the country.

Playdium will assist in the design and operation of the TechTown centres and will supply high-tech simulators and attractions by Sega and other software developers.

Thirty-two TechTowns will be built in the next two years. Sites have already opened in Calgary, Moncton, n.b., and Sarnia and Burlington, Ont.

Another seven will open in early spring.
