The Montreal offices of Coradiant, a managed service provider that provides complete outsourcing of Internet infrastructure services, has announced several senior-level executive appointments including Michael Gero as director of marketing and product management. Most recently Gero was the marketing and strategy consultant with mypatient.com, a medical learning application service provider.


Chris Bhang joins Allard-Johnson Communications of Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal as group account director in Toronto. Bhang, formerly of Vickers & Benson Direct + Interactive, will have primary responsibility on the Royal Bank account. Allard Johnson Direct in Toronto has appointed Moriah Okalow account supervisor and Laura Moretti junior account executive.

FCB Direct recently announced the appointment of two people in creative and promotion. Norman St. Jules assumed the role of creative director at the beginning of the month. He comes from Rapp Collins, where he was assistant creative director. FCB Direct also named Tim Plavac, formerly of Ogilvy & Mather, as production manager.

Vickers & Benson Direct + Interactive has announced several promotions and appointments.

Shawn Heissler has been promoted from intermediate copywriter to senior copywriter. Shelley Waterhouse, formerly account supervisor at Impiric, becomes an account director for Sprint Canada’s residential service.

Shawn Hall joins V&B Direct as response media director. Most recently director of online marketing at GreyInteractive, Hall will be responsible for strategy, planning and buying for direct response media including online campaigns.

Finally, Keith Stroud, most recently production supervisor at MacLaren MRM, joins V&B Direct as production manager, working primarily on Bank of Montreal, Canadian Tourism Commission and Lennox.

Toronto-based Internet professional services firm, CyberSight recently announced that Paul Lewis has joined the company as director of business development. In addition to heading up CyberSight’s business development team in Canada and on the U.S. east coast, Lewis will further develop strategic opportunities for existing clients and channel partners in the firm’s eCRM practice.

Michael Arismandez has been named creative director for Toronto-based direct and digital marketing agency tattoo direct+digital. Arismandez has held senior positions at agencies including Ogilvy & Mather Direct, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Blitz and BBDO Response.
