Interactive marketing strategist RareMethod of Calgary has named Keith Dundas as VP marketing. Dundas joins the company from Gettyworks, also of Calgary, where he was director of marketing communications.
Toronto’s MC Direct has announced four new members to it team. Tavia Stephenson comes from Cossette Communication-Marketing and will hold the post of senior account director managing all MC account teams. Also from Cossette is new senior account supervisor Aileen Provan who will be working on Royal Bank’s Affinity and Acquisition campaigns. Kelley Leonard joins MC Direct as account supervisor on Royal’s Affinity Card. Meanwhile Marlon Singh, most recently with Rapp Collins Worldwide, moves into the senior account manager slot.
Hot Tomali Communications of Vancouver has hired Paulo Vallejo as its marketing and sales specialist. Vallejo comes from TAP Ventures, also of Vancouver.
Four new team members have joined Toronto-based Mosaic Group. Janet Schoel joins the Direct and Interactive division as account director for Kraft. Laura Forester moves into the newly created position of director of lottery while Don McHardy becomes account manager for CIBC and JTI. Meanwhile Mosaic’s professional interactive services company, McGill, adds Lance Mohring as group manager/senior Web developer.
Montreal-based Digital Advertising Network has appointed Jim Hare to the newly created position of director of marketing. He will develop a branding strategy to position the firm’s mall-based video displays as a mainstream media option. Previously Hare operated his own marketing consulting company in Montreal.

Christina Polzl has been appointed senior director, education and professional development by the Canadian Marketing Association. Polzl joined the CMA in 1997 as council manager.
