The new company, which will be based in Quebec City and helme by Jean-François Boisvert, executive VP of Cote Larouche, will offer Web development, design, integration and marketing services to Canadian businesses looking to expand into the American market.

SUNOCO SEEKS CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

Toronto-based Sunoco Canada has launched its online customer dialogue zone, or Dzone, to give customers a voice and help the energy company capture insight and build its database. Accessible through a link on the Sunoco home page, Dzone includes such features as a discussion area, 60-second surveys, a success story section, and a customer service/response area. Toronto-based RealityClick Inc. created the site.

WAA, WMA TIE THE KNOT

In a bid to join efforts and resources toward the common goal of fostering the mobile marketing industry and protecting both consumers and industry players, the Wireless Advertising Association (WAA) and the Wireless Marketing Association (WMA) have merged to create the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). The two bodies bring together global members from such companies as Unilever, AOL, Ogilvy Interactive, DoubleClick, Nokia, Orange, BT Cellnet and Vodafone.
