Conservative leader Stephen Harper’s anti-gay marriage ad campaign seems a worthy topic to address here.

Harper, after mysteriously warning last month that legalizing gay marriage would lead to polygamy, followed up with print ads targeting multicultural and religious publications.

The ads show pics of both PM Paul Martin and Harper, and contrast the Liberal and Conservative position on the topic.

In the interest of shedding light on this lobbying effort, strategy sought the expertise of pundits with political know-how. Since DDB Toronto was behind the successful Elections Ontario campaign, we took their consul in this matter. However, when we asked CDs Andrew Simon and William Hammond to share their unique insight and give the issue the serious consideration it deserves, little did we know that they had a hand in

triggering the hubbub.
