Science World. I think (hope) the executions were fun, simple and memorable.
Are most of your ideas the result of inspiration or perspiration?
I think it’s hard to separate the two. Sometimes the solution comes immediately, and sometimes you have to sweat it out.
If you were a betting man, what would you say would be the next hottest
trend in the industry?
I think trends are dangerous in advertising. If you’re following a trend it
means someone else has done it first. I think the problem should always dictate
the solution.
What was your professional highlight over 2005?
Watching the media frenzy caused by the Trimline bus shelter ad. It was a truly heady experience to see the power of one idea.
