Which campaign contributed most to netting you top honours in your field and why?
Science World did very well for us this year – boosting attendance and winning awards. It connected because it’s interesting. People love learning something new, especially if it’s presented in an original way.
Are most of your ideas the result of inspiration or perspiration?
In our experience, the best idea is usually our first one – or our 100th. Unfortunately, you can’t tell until you’ve waded through all the mediocre stuff in between. Our mantra at Rethink is: ‘Keep going.’ That means we keep pushing until hours before we present.
If you were betting men, what would you say would be the next hottest trend in
the industry?
Agency leaders refusing to make predictions, since they understand it’s a complete waste of time.
What was your professional highlight over 2005?
Happy clients, a thriving culture, national and international creative recognition, great partners, and a balanced life.
