Steve Mykolyn has taken the wheel of Taxi Europe’s creative vision, being named its chief creative officer.
Mykolyn’s appointment, which is seeing him replace Taxi Chairman Paul Lavoie as Taxi Europe’s CCO, ads to his already hefty slate as chief creative officer of Taxi North America.
‘Taxi Europe and all Taxi offices’ leadership structures are lean with strong ties to peers in other places,’ said Rob Guenette, Taxi CEO, in a release. ‘This allows operational autonomy while maximizing opportunities for knowledge sharing to everyone’s benefit.’
All of the agencies executive creative directors are now under Mykolyn’s lead, who reports to Lavoie.
‘Steve has created a remarkable culture of camaraderie and high standards among Taxi ECDs,’ said Lavoie in a release. ‘It just makes sense for that family to include Europe.’
Mykolyn joined Taxi in November, 2000 and has since worked successful campaigns for clients such as Canadian Tire, WestJet and Koodo. He sits on the Advisory Board of the Creative Circus and the board of directors of the One Club and D&AD London.
