Montreal-based Bleublancrouge has made in-roads to Ottawa with the acquisition of Kolegram, a marketing agency that specialized in design.
The new Gatineau, Quebec-based entity, Bleublancrouge-Kolegram (BBRK), which sits across the Alexandra Bridge from the Capital, will provide the region with a full-service creative agency, with clients like Algonquin College, Téléfilm Canada, Brigil Platine and Tourisme Outaouais.
‘The market in the Outaouais region represents an important basin of talented people and big challenges,’ said Sébastien Fauré, partner/president, Bleublancrouge, in a release. ‘These are important to us as our organization and our creativity continue to grow.’
Kolegram was founded in 1992 as a fully bilingual agency by Nicolas Cazelais, who now serves as president/partner of BBR-K. It tallied over 300 creative awards delivering campaigns for clients including the National Arts Centre, the Government of Canada, the CBC, Tourisme Outaouais, Galeries de Hull, Ivanhoe-Cambridge and Opera Lyra.
‘This is a great opportunity for us to go to the next level,’ said Cazelais in a release. ‘It’s always been a dream for us to provide the region with a great full-service creative shop.’
The formation of BBR-K follows on the heels of the inception of BBR3, the culmination of a strategic partnership that Bleublancrouge forged with Montreal-based digital shop Revolver 3.
