Taxi bolsters digital offering by two

Brian Clarey and Damien Boyes join Taxi’s digital team to help expand its expertise.

Taxi has continued to drive the expansion of its digital expertise with the addition of two new online aficionados. Brian Clarey has joined the agency as GM, digital, and Damien Boyes as director of interactive design.

Reporting to Taxi COO Ron Wilson, Clarey has more than 20 years of integrated marketing know-how under his belt, having built and managed successful interactive practices at Sapient Canada and CGI, and acting as the strategic lead on programs like the relaunch of RBC.com. He arrives at Taxi having served as director, engagement management, at Organic and director of client strategy at Arnold Interactive.

“He’s got an amazing track record of solving very large, online business challenges,” said Wilson in a release. “His role here is to bring that experience to our clients and continue to aggressively grow our digital capacity.”

Boyes brings 13 years of industry-related digital experience to the Taxi fold, having worked on accounts including Ford, Amex, Chapters, Kraft, Microsoft, McDonald’s and General Mills. He’ll be reporting to Taxi co-executive CD Jason McCann.

“Damien is one of the most experienced IAs in Canada,” said McCann in a release. “He’s a perfect bridge between our creative strategy and development teams. As well as helping us deliver smart and exceptional creative work, his focus will be on building the interaction design practice across the whole Taxi network.”
