Grey Canada establishes itself in Kitchener-Waterloo

The agency has announced the opening of a new office to work with start-up tech companies in Canada’s techno-mecca.

Grey Canada is tapping Canada’s Technology Triangle with the opening of a new branch in the region.

Located in The Communitech Hub: Digital and Mobile Accelerator, which is situated in the Lang Tannery building in downtown Kitchener, the newly minted GreyKW’s digs will allow the agency to work directly with start-up tech companies, assisting them in the creation of their marketing strategies.

‘This initiative is very exciting because it allows us to explore new business opportunities in a very vibrant region within Canada,’ said Ann Nurock, president, CEO, Grey Canada, in a release. ‘The region of Waterloo has a thriving business community with a range of industries that can benefit from the global expertise that a company like the Grey Group can provide. We are keen to become part of and support the business community in the region.’

Heading up Grey’s newest shop is Beth Cotter, formerly a marketing manager with Christie Digital Systems in Kitchener, who has been named business manager of GreyKW. She brings with her 18 years of marketing, communications and branding experience.
