BC Children’s Hospital has appointed Dare its agency of record.
The hospital first partnered with Dare in February for the relaunch of its Foundation website (www.bcchf.ca) and for the development of a broader e-philanthropy initiative. It had been without an AOR since last year and chose Dare following a competitive review.
Dare will handle brand development, advertising and social media marketing for both the BC Children’s Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation brands.
“We are delighted to be building on our relationship with Dare. The agency’s strategic thinking demonstrates a strong understanding of our needs, and we believe that Dare has the perfect blend of experience to help us achieve our goals as we move forward,” says Foundation vice-president and chief strategy officer Debora Sweeney.
Dare SVP and managing partner Sandy Fleischer says his agency is excited about the new mandate. “We at Dare consider ourselves very fortunate to be partnering with the team, to help achieve their mission.”
Dare came to Canada in 2010 when Cossette acquired the U.K.-based digital agency and split Vancouver into Dare and Cossette West.
The appointment is effective immediately.
