Okanagan Spring and Old Milwaukee tap Open

Toronto-based Open has just added two new accounts – Okanagan Spring and Old Milwaukee – to its growing roster of clients, which includes Bier Markt, Casey’s and Cineplex.

‘They are really great challenger brands each with a rich and distinctive story to tell,” said Christian Mathieu, partner at Open, in a release, of the Sleeman-owned craft beer Okanagan Spring, and Sleeman-brewed Old Milwaukee (licensed from Pabst out of the U.S.).

The agency originally participated in an RFP for Okanagan against several other agencies. “Their pitch was exactly what the team sought and their delivery of breakthrough creative sealed the deal,” said Rosy Atwal, senior brand manager, Sleeman. “Having experienced Open’s process and work, we extended the award to include Old Milwaukee.”

New creative for the brands is expected in the spring, according to the release.
