Draftfcb has hired a new VP to handle digital creative for its clients. Curtis Edwards arrives at the agency from TBWA\Toronto, taking the position of VP digital creative group head.
The new hire speaks to the agency’s continued investment in the digital space, said Robin Heisey, CCO at Draftfcb in a statement.
“We’re hiring in every aspect of digital right now, and we’ve started with a talented and extremely capable leader to help us create the kind of team that clients are looking for,” he added, noting that Edwards not only brings impressive digital chops to the agency, but also experience in design, mass and integrated marketing.
While at TBWA, Edwards was responsible for work that won awards for clients Nissan, Visa, Yellow Tail and Petro-Canada. The new VP said that Draftfcb’s goal of perfecting its digital practice motivated him to join the shop. “I get to lead a new team that’s been built for the integrated and social reality we’re working [in] today.”
