DDB picks up the BC Automobile Association

The Vancouver-based shop has been named AOR for the CAA affiliate alongside OMD Vancouver, which will help handle media buying.

DDB Canada has been named AOR for the British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA). Through the deal, the agency will handle the brand’s strategy, creative and planning services. Media buying will be shared in partnership with OMD Vancouver, which also recently joined the brand. The agencies take over for Rethink and Vizeum, respectively.

DDB will also be responsible for driving new membership and introducing new products for the brand, which provides roadside assistance as well as home, travel and auto insurance.
