Following its major wins at the Kinsale Shark Awards last week, Leo Burnett has announced the hiring of two new senior art directors and a senior copywriter.
Yusong Zhang joins the team as AD from Grey Canada, where he picked up a number of awards, including a Silver (“The World’s Most Valuable Check In” in 2013) and Bronze (“The World’s Most Valuable Social Network” in 2012) Cannes Lions for his work with the Missing Children Society of Canada. In 2013, he ranked 17th on strategy’s Creative Report Card art director’s list.
He’ll be joined by copy and art team Rica Eckersley and Adam Thur (above), who both hail from Taxi 2, where the pair worked with brands including Koodo and Crystal Light. All three joined the agency in September.
The trio join the shop following its win of Molson Coors’ Coors Light Business this past July.
