OgilvyOne appoints new CCO

OgilvyOne has promoted Alex Furrer into the position of CCO, from ACD, replacing Matt Hassell who left last month to helm creative at KBS+.

“Alex was the obvious and natural choice,” said Guy Stevenson, managing director, OgilvyOne. “She’s worked on every client and has won numerous CMA, CASSIES and Echo awards over the years.”

Furrer will oversee the department of 22 and lead creative for clients that include American Express, Unilever, Tim Hortons and IBM.

She started her career at OgilvyOne as an intern before moving on to Wunderman and Taxi as a copywriter. She returned to Ogilvy in 2010.
