KBS+ Toronto adds five

New KBS+ CCO Matt Hassell has begun bolstering his team, bringing five new creatives into the shop, including CD Marketa Krivy.

Krivy was most recently freelancing but has held senior art directing roles at Y&R and Zulu Alpha Kilo in her nearly 20-year career.

Also joining the shop are copywriters Nimo Awil and Darren Marranca, and art directors Pepe Bratanov and Adam Tuck.

Awil, who started her career at OgilvyOne working on creative for Dove, was most recently at Juniper Park where she worked on brands including Tropicana Canada and Virgin Mobile.

Marranca was most recently at Innocean writing for Kia Motors. While at Grey Canada, his work on The Salvation Army was recognized at various awards shows, according to a release.

Bratanov was most recently art director at Cossette, working on brands including McDonald’s, GM and P&G.

Tuck joins the shop from Innocean, where he held the position of art director and worked on the Kia Motors brand.

The announcement comes almost three months after former OgilvyOne CCO Matt Hassell joined KBS+ Toronto as CCO and Sacha Ouimet joined its Montreal office as ECD.
