DentsuBos wins Manulife Financial

The agency has been selected along with Mindshare Canada to handle work for the financial services group.

DentsuBos and Mindshare Canada have been named the creative and media agencies of record for Manulife Financial following a formal review that began last fall.

The creative agency has over 200 employees in Toronto and Montreal, and Claude Carrier, president of DentsuBos, says the win is significant for the shop in terms of budget, and new work can be expected in late summer or early fall.

“Manulife is focused on increasing efficiencies and effectiveness across all our Canadian businesses,” said Jeronimo De Miguel, VP branding, Manulife Financial, in a release on the win. “From a brand perspective, this means we not only need to streamline our processes and leverage our strength, but also take our brand to the next level creatively. We think this new partnership will help accomplish that.”
