Cundari is strengthening its strategic team with the addition of industry veteran Malcolm McLean as EVP, strategy, insights and planning.
McLean joins from Grey Canada, where he was VP, director of strategic planning and worked on the Cassies Grand Prix-winning, Missing Children Society of Canada’s “Milk Carton 2.o” campaign as well as a Silver and Bronze in Cannes over the past two years.
McLean has also worked at TBWA, Lowe Roche, Cossette and BBDO, across several categories, including financial services, automotive, telecommunications, beverage and pharmaceutical.
At Cundari, he will oversee the shop’s planning group and work across all accounts, the agency says.
The announcement comes just over a month after Cundari revealed it had won the assignment to rebrand the country of Armenia in partnership with New York-based GK Group.
