Rethink is bolstering its senior ranks, naming two new partners at the Vancouver and Toronto shops.
In Vancouver, Chelsea Stoelting will take on a partnership role after acting as group account director for the A&W account. Darren Yada, working from both Vancouver and Toronto, will also take on the role of partner. He joined the agency in 2010, and most recently was the national director of digital strategy, working on brands such as Molson Canadian, Shaw and A&W.
The agency has also promoted two creative directors, both out of Vancouver. Lisa Nakamura had previously worked as part of the design team, and her work has been recognized at the One Show, LIA and Communication Arts. Bob Simpson will join her as CD. The former copywriter has worked on brands such as A&W, Mr. Lube and Royal BC Museum.
Finally, Joel Holtby will take on the title of ACD after taking on some “ambitious” projects for Molson Canadian and CIDI, according to a release. He ranked seventh on strategy’s Creative Report Card for his time while at Grip and his work on The Movie Out Here. Leia Rogers picks up the ACD title as well. Like her Vancouver colleagues, the former AD has also worked on A&W and Molson Canadian.
